Thomas Zimmerman is the Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of HHL Holdings, Inc. Mr. Zimmerman is a founding shareholder and a founding director of Honolulu HomeLoans, Inc. and is the current Chairman of Honolulu HomeLoans, Inc. Mr. Zimmerman is a 25-year mortgage banking professional with lending experience at Honolulu Mortgage Company, Bank of Hawaii, and Central Pacific HomeLoans (formerly known as Hawaii HomeLoans). Prior to founding Honolulu HomeLoans, Inc., he was the President of Central Pacific HomeLoans and a Senior Vice President of Central Pacific Bank. Mr. Zimmerman was a founder of Hawaii HomeLoans and served as that company’s President and as a Director until the company was acquired by Central Pacific Bank. During his tenure at HHL Holdings, Inc., Tom has led the expansion into new businesses, such as long-term property management, short-term property management in Hawaii and in Oregon and the outsource services business.
Mr. Zimmerman is a proven leader and manager with an excellent reputation among the state’s Realtors, developers and business leaders. Tom is a past director of the Building Industry Association of Hawaii, Le Jardin Academy, HUGS (Help, Understanding & Group Support), Kainalu Little League, Friends of Hawaii State Art Museum, Kailua American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) and the Punahou Parent Advancement Council. Mr. Zimmerman recently concluded his term as the Chairman of the Hawaii Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and continues as a Board member of the Hawaii YPO. He is an advisor to a private foundation that grants funds to Hawaii’s public elementary schools.
Chief Legal Officer

Earl Ching is the Chief Legal Officer for HHL Holdings, Inc. Earl manages the company’s legal functions. Earl served as Vice President and Legal Counsel and Assistant Secretary for Central Pacific HomeLoans from 2007 to 2009. Earl was in the private practice of law from 1988 to 2007 with an emphasis in corporate, business and real estate law. Earl graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1988 and from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1984. Earl presently holds an active State of Hawaii Real Estate Salesperson license and is licensed to practice law in the State of Hawaii.
Chief Operating Officer, HHL Holdings, Inc.
Sharon Miyazaki is the Chief Operations Officer of HHL Holdings, Inc. Sharon manages and supervises the company’s product management, systems and offshore operations. Sharon most recently served as the Executive Vice President – Operations for Central Pacific HomeLoans. Sharon managed the operations and product management functions as well as the production of CPHL’s reverse mortgage products and Central Pacific Bank’s home equity loan products.
Sharon previously managed the underwriting and quality control functions for Gentry Mortgage Company and the processing and closing functions for Hawaii HomeLoans Inc. Her non-mortgage experience includes bank branch management, operations management and customer service responsibility with American Savings Bank.
Sharon’s career has been characterized by constantly increasing responsibility and professionalism. Sharon’s extensive background in generating results from operational groups and production teams have prepared her well to be the EVP-Chief Operations Officer for a full-service mortgage banking company in Hawaii.
Chief Financial Officer
Wendy F. Odo is Chief Financial Officer of HHL Holdings, Inc. Wendy is responsible for managing the financial risk of HHL Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiaries including financial accounting and reporting, budgeting and tax planning.
Wendy has more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage and financial services industries at Honolulu Mortgage, Bank of Hawaii, Central Pacific HomeLoans (formerly known as Hawaii HomeLoans) and HHL Holdings, Inc. Her most recent position was the Executive Vice President of Finance at Central Pacific HomeLoans, where she was responsible for the finance, secondary marketing and shipping functions. Prior to that, she was the Segment Finance Officer for Bank of Hawaii’s Retail Banking Division supporting the bank’s mortgage lending branch, small business and credit card divisions. At Honolulu Mortgage, she served as the Controller. Prior to her mortgage and financial services career, Wendy was an audit manager and the Director of Recruiting at the Honolulu office of Ernst & Young.
Wendy currently serves as a trustee of the Public Schools of Hawaii Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting public education in Hawaii. She is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
President, Honolulu Property Management
Matt Brummel is President and licensed as a Realtor Associate. He oversees Honolulu Property Management’s management operations and team of property managers who are responsible for nearly 700 properties across Oahu for more than 500 owners worldwide. Matt’s strong leadership and sales culture skills help the company offer professional property management services with a commitment to service excellence.
Prior to joining HPM, Matt was an accomplished real estate sales professional at Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties, winning numerous accolades for his persistent hard work. Matt managed a team of agents who received all leads from the company’s website, increasing sales volume by nearly 25 percent despite the falling real estate market during that period from 2007 to 2009. He has produced outstanding results for Coldwell Banker for nearly 13 years in various roles including Internet Sales Manager and Previews© Property Team Member.
Matt has an Associate of Arts degree from Saddleback Community College in Mission Viejo, California. He also attended the University of Hawaii, where he was a team manager for the men’s basketball team and received a full scholarship.

Originally from Maryland, Rick attended Pensacola Naval Technology School and served his time as a cryptographer in the Navy. In 1982, Rick concluded his time in the Navy and pursued his passion for technology in the Hawaii commercial market. Within a year, he created Century Computers. At its helm for three decades, Rick grew the company to become one of the leading technology firms in Hawaii. In 2003, Rick was recognized as one of the state’s top technology leaders and Century Computers was listed in Pacific Business News as the third largest technology consulting firm in Hawaii. In 2011, Rick sold Century Computers and rebranded the company to PacXa. Rick continues to provide leadership and direction to PacXa as a board member.
Success in the business world brought opportunities to give back to the community. Rick served as a board member for The Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii for more than 20 years. He also served as President of the board for two years. Additionally, Rick served the board for Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor. Rick is also a member of YPO Gold, currently serving on the board and was its previous Chapter Chair.
Rick now lives in Bend, Oregon with his wife and two boys. Within two years of moving to Bend, he has helped the company acquire three vacation rental businesses with additional acquisitions slated within the next year. Managing other investments in his spare time, he enjoys cycling and spending time with his family.
